Golang Job: Backend Engineer (80-100%)

At Kaspar&, we are looking for an additional backend developer supporting us in the development of our service-oriented backend applications

Kaspar&'s core business is to serve financial services to the broad Swiss market with the help of our mobile app and seamless integration of our partner services.

You should:

• Have an exceptional degree in computer science or in a similar field with a technical background (such as engineering, mathematics, physics, …)
• Have relevant work experience
• Have experience with backend technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, SQL/ORM, PostgreSQL and you should have worked with REST APIs, web and testing frameworks
• Have experience in Golang or Java
• Solid understanding of Git and Github/Gitlab
• Be able to work independently and have a high willingness to perform
• Be fluent in English
• Have a work permit in Switzerland

You have the chance to stand out if you fulfill one or more of the following qualifications:

• You have broad experience with backend technologies in general and understand the big picture, i.e. you know the (dis-)advantages of different architectures
• You have experience with cloud services, preferably GCP
• You have CI/CD knowledge using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• You have experience in test-driven development (TDD)
• You have experience in queuing systems such as RabbitMQ
• You have an understanding of common software architectures and design patterns
• You are a techie with a flair for finance and wealth management
• You have experience working in a startup
• You are experienced in using agile software development frameworks such as Scrum
